How to Make Healing Amish Black Salve
The Amish have a sort of mysticism that surrounds their way of life. Their remedies are a basic necessity to the Amish for good health. It is no wonder we seek their age old wisdom for herbal remedies.
This recipe is good for multiple things from skin problems like acne, ingrown nails, removal of foreign debris like glass and splinters, it has also been reputed to heal skin cancer. It is also very useful for pulling toxins out of an infected wound, and is said to be useful in drawing venom out of spider bites.
Amish black salve recipe
1 ½ cups of coconut oil
2 ounces of beeswax
3 drops of 100% pure and natural calendula oil
20 drops of 100% pure and natural lavender oil
3 teaspoons of activated charcoal
3 teaspoons of bentonite clay
1 tablespoon of local honey
This remedy is non-staining and safe for individuals of all ages, including children.
For a softer salve add less beeswax and more for a harder salve.
